CISF Constable Tradesman Exam Date 2020

Central Industrial Security Force i.e. CISF has released the new date of written examination under Constable / Tradesman Recruitment 2019. According to a notice issued by the security force today, the written examination to be held on 7 June will now be conducted on 6 September 2020. CISF stated in its notice that the date of the Constable / Tradesman Written Examination 2019 has been amended due to administrative reasons.

Please tell that the notification for the recruitment of 914 posts of Constable / Tradesman in various trades was issued by CISF in September 2019 and the process of application lasted till 22 October. These positions include cook, cobbler, barber, washerman, carpenter, sweeper, painter, mason, plumber, gardener, and electrician.

As per the official notice, there are two stages under the selection process. In the first phase, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standards Test (PST), Documentation and Trade Test were conducted. At the same time, the second phase is to have OMR based written examination.

The CISF Constable / Tradesman Written Exam 2019 will be OMR based with a total of 100 questions of multiple choice nature. The written examination will be of two hours. The examination will have questions related to General Awareness, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, etc. All these questions will be in both English and Hindi languages. However, answers to questions number 81 to 100 will have to be given in English or Hindi only.

The final selection list of the candidates selected under the CISF Constable / Tradesman recruitment process is to be prepared according to class after PET / PST, Documentation, Trade Test, and Written Examination. For this, CISF has set class-wise minimum qualifying marks - 35% for Unreserved, EWS, and Ex-servicemen, while 33% marks are required for SC, ST, and OBC. In case of tie marks, preference will be given to the candidates of higher age first and then the final selection will be made on the basis of height, educational qualification, and alphabetical order if required.
